The Best of Persia in 9 Days

Upon arrival at Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) , you'll be met & greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. On route, you'll receive essential information about Iran.

You will start Tehran city tour with your guide by visiting Saad Abad Palace in the north of Tehran, Azadi (Shahyad) Tower, and the National Museum of Iran, which houses ancient Iranian artifacts. Then, you’ll continue by visiting the lavish Golestan Palace (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and also the Grand Bazaar of Tehran

Following breakfast and hotel check-out, your guide will accompany you to the bus terminal for your journey to the enchanting city of Isfahan. After arrival and a brief rest, you’ll enjoy an evening walk with your guide to explore Chaharbagh Street and Isfahan's historic bridges.

In Isfahan, you'll delve into the enchanting world of Persian art and architecture by exploring the UNESCO gems from Safavid era like Chehel Sotun Palace and Naqsh-e Jahan Square with its monuments and also Jolfa Armenian neighborhood including the stunning Vank Cathedral. You will also experience the vibrant traditional bazaar and participate in traditional handicraft workshops and introductions.

You'll trade Isfahan's charm for Yazd's desert allure. After a five-hour bus journey, you and your guide will arrive in Yazd. Following a short rest, it will be time for a pleasant evening tour to visit the Amir Chakhmagh Complex, marvel at the Jameh Mosque of Yazd, and explore the historic Fahadan Neighborhood (a UNESCO site).

On day 6 you’ll visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple with its 1500-year-old fire, the Towers of Silence (Dakhmeh) andthe charming Dolatabad Garden (UNESCO). At the end you will have an amazing experience: walking in an ancient Persian Qanat called Zarch.

After breakfast and check out from hotel, it’s time to say goodbye to Yazd taking a bus to Shiraz. As usual, after arrival and a brief rest in the hotel, you will have a pleasant evening stroll with your guide in the city.

Following a morning visit to the colorful Nasirolmolk Mosque, your guide will lead you through the historical wonders of Persepolis and Necropolis. The day continues with a visit to the tomb of the renowned Persian poet Hafez, followed by some cultural gems, including the Shrine of Ali ibn Hamze and the Vakil Complex. To celebrate the whole memorable journey, you’ll experience a traditional Persian Night, enjoying hanging out with a local family and a delicious dinner at the last night of our journey.

Your guide will accompany you to Shiraz International Airport (SYZ) for your return flight.
